I started writing Aubrey. With a B. back in 2007. I worked on it for a few years, and decided it was good enough to put it on my bucket list as completed. I always wanted to write a novel, and had started several novels that I never completed for one reason or another.

The beginning of the novel was its weakest part. I ripped it up and rewrote it several times, but it never improved. I put it aside and started writing a new novel.

In 2011, I was diagnosed with a degenerative disease, and I soon stopped reading and writing. Almost 10 years later, I woke one morning and these words came to the forefront of my mind:

It was Christmas 2008—actually, two days before—and most of the shoppers were desperate men.

This was the opening I needed for this novel, and I ripped out the first four chapters and rewrote them, and had to update some part of almost every chapter. Tons of edits later, I now have the novel completed. If you read my novel, please post an honest review on amazon. It's OK if you didn't like it, for whatever reason.
